Because each episode is only 20 minutes, there is hardly enough time to go into great depths about all of the information. This documentary, which Knox herself stars in, sheds light on several different points of view for this true-crime conspiracy. During his work for the NSA as technical director, Binney created a complex program called ThinThread that could uncover information, data and clues about future terrorist attacks. The information and whole point of the show becomes lost and irrelevant as the makers try to focus and capture the viewers imagination with spooky misleading music and narration, really annoying sound effects makes this show like most US documentary shows completely artificial, pompous and patronizing. I don't blame Jesse Ventura, instead I blame the makers for making it more of a reality show about him than the topic at hand.

Conspiracy theories on netflix

After researching heavily and talking with peers, I compiled a list of nine conspiracy documentaries and yes, I watched them all on Netflix. Of course, there are more than nine available for viewing, but no one has that much free time. The most annoying thing about this is that instead of the angry shock of what the investigators discovered, the viewer is left with a sense of comfortable normalization of the topic discussed. The documentary is interesting, shedding light on all theories — overstated and brand new. Narrator Nick Broomfield portrays Love almost as a hypocrite who promotes her need for free speech but also manipulates media sources in an attempt to save her public image. I don't blame Jesse Ventura, instead I blame the makers for making it more of a reality show about him than the topic at hand. These movies range from topics about terrorist attacks and alien sightings all the way to the untimely death of Nirvana star Kurt Cobain. However, there were some downsides to the show. During his work for the NSA as technical director, Binney created a complex program called ThinThread that could uncover information, data and clues about future terrorist attacks. Some episodes also focus more on the images in the show rather than the substance. A good portion of the actors also had personal connections with the Ramsey family at the time of the murder. Because each episode is only 20 minutes, there is hardly enough time to go into great depths about all of the information. Binney takes the audience through his time working for the government and critiques the NSA on its arrogance. However, Jesse should take responsibility for some of the rhetoric one-liners he used such as "I don't get intimidated, I get angry" which was used at least 3 times. I liked this show specifically because there are many different conspiracies recognized, not just a few, and the information is interesting. The information and whole point of the show becomes lost and irrelevant as the makers try to focus and capture the viewers imagination with spooky misleading music and narration, really annoying sound effects makes this show like most US documentary shows completely artificial, pompous and patronizing. Save Netflix has been under quite a bit of heat lately as a result of the company making a good amount of popular TV shows and classic movies unavailable for viewing. This documentary is more like an audition reel of actors auditioning to play the members of the Ramsey family for a documentary about the murder of JonBenet. But I would honestly recommend YouTube for these topics instead. As someone who truly enjoys the thrill of an interesting documentary, conspiracy documentaries are up my alley. Was this review helpful to you? The film covers three theories: Despite all of this chaos, there is a genre still available that many overlook: Most of the actors are interviewed in the movie, sending out their own theories about who killed 6-year-old JonBenet. I'll give this a rating of 4 or 5 for drawing credible attention to topics that have become sneered at in a world with an easily controlled status quo.
